Saturday 18th August

The final day arrived and we rose at 8:30am for breakfast of fritters, tomatoes and eggs. Breakfast was followed by packing up. At about 12 noon an ice cream van appeared and everybody spent out all their money. The coach arrived after dinner and the vans were loaded. We entered the coach with the heavy mob at the back singing all the way home. We stopped at Overley in a cafe for 15 minutes, then returned. At Tettenhall the Ventures got off and we carried on to the Scout hut, unloaded the coach and went home. Here endeth the Summer Camp of 1984.
