Use ratio notation, simplify ratios, and divide a quantity into parts based on a given ratio.

Wacky Wilma's Wool
Wool

Wacky Wilma has 500g of red wool and two and a half kilograms of blue wool for her knitting project. Convert the weights to the same unit and express the ratio of red wool to blue wool to the form 1:n.

Pete's Pizzas

Pete made pizza with 1.5kg of flour and 250g of cheese.
Find the simplified ratio of flour to cheese in the form n:1.

Clara's Colourful Cups
Paint

Clara has 1.5 litres of red paint and 600ml of blue paint for her art project. Convert the volumes to the same unit and then simplify the ratio of red paint to blue paint to the form n:1.

Loony Larry's Lanky Llamas
Llamas

Larry says he has 3 meters of llama leash for every 45 centimetres of llama height. Convert the measurements to the same unit, then reduce the ratio of llama leash length to llama height to the form 1:n.

Zippy Zucchinis

Zelda grew zucchinis (courgettes) in her zany garden. If she harvested 16kg from a 20 square metre plot, express this mixed-unit rate in the simplest form 1:n.

Stellar Spheres

The fantasy green planet Verdantia and the blue planet Azureon are of different sizes.
Their diameters are 24150km and 13800km respectively.
What is the ratio of their diameters in the form n:1?

Introduction to Ratios

Please be aware that the levels referenced in this video pertain to the structure of the exercise when it consisted of only seven levels. Following the production of the video, I introduced a new Level 4, focused on simplifying ratios to the form 1:n. Consequently, the previous Level 4 was reassigned as Level 5, Level 5 advanced to Level 6, and this pattern continued accordingly. I am confident you will be able to navigate these changes; my apologies for any inconvenience caused.
