Scouts donate £50 prize

A Wolverhampton Scout group has donated £50 which it won in a competition to help buy an electric wheelchair for a disabled man. The 37th Wolverhampton Sea Scouts won the cash in a Getting Involved competition for youth groups in the town, organised by the Express and Star. The group organised a disco and Christmas party for mentally handicapped children at Benton House in Wednesfield. Scouts also visited the children at the home. They decided to donate their £50 to help buy Stuart Marshall of Aldersley Road an electric wheelchair.
