This time the washing up was done by John and Nigel and it was done without pans. When we had done our duties we paid our goodbyes and left for the course. The caving was properly lighted and well laid out. After this trip we started on our way out home to the town near us.
The journey home was not very interesting really and the lunch we had was the same as walking. On the way back five people jumped out and brought a little ticket. This was the last event on probably the most enjoyable camp I have been to. Andrew Bate.

A day climbing Snowdon
At 7:00 am we all met at the Scout hut but we had to wait for five minutes because two of us wasn't there yet. Only eight of us was going there. It was Robert Bood, Mark Bood, Jonathan Smith, Andrew Ormer, Dennan, Andrew Bates, John, Chip and I, Stuart Farley. At 7:15 they came so we all got in the mini-bus and started off to Snowdon.
On the way we had to stop two times. The first stop was for petrol and oil. With the oil John got a free reddy. The second time it was for engine trouble. John had to get some water and he saw a newsagent over the road that was open so he said that we could go and buy something. John asked if he could have some hot water and the man in the shop said yes. After that we all got back in the mini-bus and set off for Snowdon.
When we got to Snowdon it was still raining. In the mini-bus we all put our waterproof cloths on and went round to the back of the mini-bus and John took a picture of us. After we had our picture took we walked up the miners' trail half way up the miners' trail. I was cold so Robert Bood lent me his coat to put under my other coat. Then we carried on to Snowdon. Then after we had a rest for five minutes we set out. Then we carried on to Snowdon.
When we were nearly there we had our lunch. Then we started off for Snowdon again. When we got to Snowdon we started to climb Snowdon. It took about 2 hours to get to the top of the mountain. When we got to the top I looked down to the bottom and I couldn't see anything because of the clouds and the mist.
