The first cooked meal of the camp was pork chops, mixed vegetables, boiled potatoes, apple pie and custard. After washing up, the young ones went canoeing while the older ones stayed about the site. At about 9pm everybody assembled inside the marquee for a talk and supper of cheese and biscuits and soup. The tuck shop was then open and everyone went to bed.
