was quite flat. Presently we passed a Golf Course on the R.H. bank which was not shown on the map.
Up until now we hadn't noticed anything of particular interest in the way of river life but just after passing the Golf Course we noticed a water rat "plop" into the river and swim strongly away down stream. Also a little further on we passed a Swan's nest with the pen sitting while the Cob remained on guard on the water. It was quite fearless and
