To prevent slide use a square lashing
To prevent spring or bow use a diagonal lashing
Sheer Lashing
1) When used as a tripod or for sheer legs.
Clove Hitch. Take several turns round all three spars and then put frapping turns between each spar to tighten. Finish off with clove hitch.
