Deviation
This is due to the mass of metal within a ship. It can nearly be corrected (if swung) with soft iron magnets. Remainder is allowed for with deviation allowance chart.
Lubbers line should be in line fore and aft of the boat. Don't oversteer - bring boat round gently.
