Go Maths

Learning and understanding Mathematics, at every level, requires learner engagement. Mathematics is not a spectator sport. Sometimes traditional teaching fails to actively involve students. One way to address the problem is through the use of interactive activities and this web site provides many of those. The Go Maths main page links to more activities designed for students in upper Secondary/High school.

"Numeracy is a skill(s) best practised regularly. Practice can become boring if it is not varied or given purpose. This activity is one example of how basic arithmetic can be presented in a way that encourages higher level thinking skills rather than just the recall of number facts. There are many other activities on this website which are designed to provide the variety that is the spice of life!"
