Tuesday
On Tuesday we did not do too much. We started out by going sailing. We sailed across the bay and down a river. After we came back from sailing we went down to a swimming pool, where we had a great time. We then went back to the boat where we packed away. Before we started out we went to Seaside Park, where we went shopping. We went in and played in the arcades.
We then set out back to Camp Tamarack. When we got back to Camp Tamarack we told each other where we went and what we did. Before we went to bed we ate a whole watermelon. We were nearly up all night talking about things we had done.
Wednesday
On Wednesday we left early so that we could have a catch-up at New York City. When we parked we walked over to the boat which takes regular trips over to Liberty Island. Bob Kern, Stephen Brazier, Gary Fullwood and I went up to the top of the crown of the Statue of Liberty. The temperature inside the Statue of Liberty was 108 degrees, which was very hot.
After we had come back on the boat we then walked over to the World Trade Center, which is the second largest building in the world. Off the top of there you could see for miles even though it was not a clear day. In the afternoon we went shopping at Woolworth's and Macy's, the largest store in the world. We then walked over to the Radio City Music Hall, where we saw the 50th anniversary show, which was all about the best parts of the last fifty years of the hall. After that had finished we went back to Camp Tamarack.
