Splicing
Have boys behind for demonstration.
Back Splice - hays man's whipping - won't pass through block. Put whipping on as soon as possible. Start with Crown Knot.
Finish 1) Tapering off strands 2) Part strands after three tucks and West Country whipping.
Short Splice
Put two tucks in each end before tightening. Finish - as for back splice.
Eye Splice - As known.
S.T.A. Back short and eye splice.
