Out Of Reach

How does she see me?

What does she call me?

How does she feel when she hears my name?

I really want her

I really need her

I need to know that she feels the same.

She's out of reach, out of reach yea

She's out of reach, out of reach

She's out of reach, out of reach yea

She's out of reach, out of reach

My life is haunted

She rules my thinking

When I can't see her I'm out of control.

I really love her

I really crave her

Please let her know that I'll give her my soul.

She's out of reach, out of reach yea

She's out of reach, out of reach

She's out of reach, out of reach yea

She's out of reach, out of reach

I can't believe it

I can't conceive it

Her life and my life are not really free

She'll never know it

I'll never live it

Our lives together are never to be

She's out of reach, out of reach yea

She's out of reach, out of reach

She's out of reach, out of reach yea

"Out of Reach", the first single release from the new album "Right Time" made the 94 position in the UK singles charts. It was played on Radio 1 and featured in such publications as Just Seventeen, Eastern Eye, Now, Movie International, Des Pardes and TV Hits.

If you receive TV Asia you can’t fail to have noticed the clips from the "Out Of Reach" video which has yet to be shown in full on mainstream TV. A number of HMV stores have had displays of the single in their windows and the Sahotas posters seem to be everywhere around the West Midlands at least.

You can’t release a mainstream single without a video you know!

Saturday 30th July was the date arranged for the Sahotas to make the "Out Of Reach" video. The boys left Wolverhampton on the previous day in the van (with all their instruments) bound for the Swiss Cottage hotel in London where they were to relax overnight ready for the intensive day's shooting to come.

A meeting was called by M-Ocean (the video producers) with the director (Katie Lynne) and the boys. Details of the following days plans were discussed. The hairdresser also used the time to work on Parkesh's and Surjit's hair styles.

The morning of the shoot began at 7:15am when the two chauffeur driven cars arrived at the hotel to pick up our stars. A warehouse in Battersea was the unusual location for the filming to take place. Scenes of the group playing and dancing were mixed with images of beautiful (out of reach) girls.

Mucky was so taken aback by the girls that he knocked over his drink causing a shiney effect on the floor. The director liked the effect had created and asked for more water to be added to the floor to enhance the effect.

The evening was not a time to rest as the boys were whisked off to Central London where they were filmed on the streets of Soho with the famous neon lights of Piccadilly Circus in the background.

It only took a week to edit the film which is a fast moving, exciting and electrifying interpretation of the "Out Of Reach" lyrics.

MTV look out!

.......a video that is probably one of the most raunchy to come from a bhangra band. Scantily clad females dressed in brightly coloured rooms are shown chewing bubble gum. You can't help but feel it's reminiscent of a weird Prince or George Michael (check out Surjit) video....
