The comedian Frank Skinner once said: "I asked an audience how many people had seen a ghost, eight people put their hands up to say that they had seen a ghost, then I asked them how many of them had seen Papua New Guinea. Nobody put their hands up so by my calculation, it's far more likely that ghosts exist than Papua New Guinea."
