  • A Albert,
  • Please send me the answer to the last sequence.
My year five girls are desperate for the answer and frustrated that we don't know where to start. 22nd June.
  • Transum,
  • The last sequence is the sequence of answers! Look at the answers you already have for the first four sequences (see below). Sorry Year 5 girls, a bit of a tough one that!
  • Inga Moreno, SBA
  • Would be great if you provided with answers, just saves time. I teach nearly every lesson, so would appriciate time saving. [Transum: "Scroll down the page to find the answers to the Starter of the Day"]
  • Ms. Flynn, St. Paul's, Brighton UK
  • Wow! Number 3 was tricky but kept my most able (and the maths TA) intrigued for ages. Great selection of sequences for my, very mixed-ability, year 6 class.
  • Mr Kavanagh's Fifth Class, C
  • We really enjoyed this one, Emma was the only one (including the teacher) that figured out the fifth sequence.
  • Mr Bob, Tutor Classes
  • This is an interesting puzzle. My class was able to work it out easily although the last few were tricky.
  • Miss Rose And Rabbit Class, Doha, Qatar
  • Rabbit class from Doha, Qatar enjoyed figuring these out and found out that we can have patterns with both letters and numbers.
We found sequence 5 the hardest!
