• Starter could easily be developed into accurate construction of the nets of cubes/dices using compasses and rulers and actually having a go at making the cubes/dices.

• Some of the group found this quite challenging, and others thought it was quite easy. Jack paris said 'a very good challenge and a good way to help with your nets'. Sydney said 'the cube part was easy but the die part was quite challenging. 'Sam said 'it was a brainteasing challenge but it was fun.'.

• This game was a challenge , it was hard because we only had ten seconds but a few people got 100%, including me (Jon Wallace 1.13J).

## Casio Classwiz Calculator

There is currently a lot of talk about this new calculator being the best in its price range for use in the Maths classroom. The new ClassWiz features a high-resolution display making it easier to view numerical formulas and symbols but it isn't a graphical calculator as such (it has the capacity to draw graphs on your smart phone or tablet, via a scannable QR code and an app).
